Overview

KBL Mining holds a strong project portfolio, which is diversified across
geographical location, commodity and stage of development.

Mineral Hill  – Highly prospective for Cu, Au, Ag,Pb, Zn

  • Tenement holding covering an area of 49km2 in the Cobar Basin (Lachlan Fold
Belt), central NSW. By sealed road, the project is 50km north of  Condobolin
  • Project area houses the refurbished and upgraded Mineral Hill Mine
  • Mine currently producing copper-gold concentrates at 320,000tpa
  • Production of gold and silver bullion scheduled to commence in near future with
reinstallation of a gold circuit in conjunction with increasing underground Au
grades with Cu ore and Pearse Au/Ag ore
  • Significant exploration upside – all existing Cu-Au deposits remain open along strike and
at depth, plus new Cu-Au greenfields coming into play
  • 10+ years production potential of Cu, Au, Ag, Pb and Zn.

Sorby Hills Ag and Pb project

  • Large undeveloped, near-surface Ag-Pb deposit – estimated to host c. 40Moz Au and 1Moz
    Pb
  • Located in far north WA, 120km by sealed road from the Port at Wyndham and 40km
from the Kimberley regional centre of Kununurra
  • Tenement holding covering c. 12,600ha and comprising numerous mineralised deposits that lie in a linear formation over a 12km stretch
  • Joint Venture project – 75% KBL and 25% Henan Yuguang Gold & Lead Co. Ltd (China's
largest gold, silver and lead smelter)
  • Staged development. Pre-Feasibility Study for Stage 1 complete. Payback period on
$70million CAPEX is 1.7 years. Stage 1 covers 27% of global Indicated and
Inferred Resource at Sorby Hills and has a life of 10 years.
  • Development planned for FY13, with production to follow in FY14. Stage 1 expected to
deliver 800,000 ounces of Ag and 20,000 tonnes of Pb in concentrates

Constance Range – Fe ore project

  • Discovered by BHP in 1956. Extensive exploration activity undertaken, before abandonment
in 1965 in favour of Pilbara Iron Ore fields
  • Kimberley Metals holds 30% interest in largest known deposit in Constance Range. Hosts Resources of 296Mt at 53.1% Fe
  • Potential for 1-2Mtpa direct shipping ore project.
